2. Estimates, quotes and approvals
- Estimates are non-binding until confirmed as a written quote.
- Some work cannot be fully priced until inspection/strip-down. If additional work/parts are needed, we will contact you for approval.
- Parts approval: we proceed with parts up to £5 (ex VAT) without calling; above this we will ask approval before ordering/fitting.
3. Prices and VAT
- Unless stated otherwise, prices are shown + VAT.
- VAT is charged at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) where applicable.
4. Booking, deposits and cancellations
- Bookings may require a deposit.
- If you cancel with short notice, we may retain a reasonable amount to cover time already booked or parts already ordered.
5. Parts ordering and special orders
- Special order parts (ordered specifically for your job) may be non-returnable to suppliers and may be chargeable even if you later cancel.
6. Timeframes
- Timeframes are estimates. Delays can occur due to parts availability, supplier lead times, or unforeseen issues discovered during inspection.
7. Customer-supplied parts
- We can fit customer-supplied parts by agreement, but we do not warrant the quality/fitment of those parts. Labour for diagnosis caused by unsuitable parts may be chargeable.
8. Used/second-hand parts
- Used parts are sold as used. Condition will be described as accurately as possible. Any warranty is limited to what is stated on the listing/invoice.
9. Road testing
- Where appropriate, road testing may be carried out to confirm safe operation and verify repairs.
10. Storage
- Completed vehicles must be collected promptly. We may charge storage fees if a vehicle is left for an extended period after completion/notification.
11. Liability
- We take reasonable care, but we are not liable for losses outside our control (supplier delays, pre-existing damage/faults, etc.). Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
